New flat, new leaf

Buongiorno! Life is tiring, people. This past fortnight I've had to haul a tonne of stuff up three flights of stairs [when did I decide I needed a sewing machine that doesn't work? Or thirty pairs of shoes? Or a yoga mat?], unpack about two dozen suitcases AND start University again. I'M SO TIRED.

Cue a week of early nights and naps, and I'm very nearly back to normal. I absolute adore my new flat - I'm in a smaller room which hopefully means that I have to be tidy, and I even have a little window seat so I can sit and drink tea and read Sherlock Holmes all whilst gazing out at trees [and other people's windows. What a creep.]

I spent my day reading up on neuroscience while a hairdresser ombre-d my hair - I'm now a very unexpected shade of brown, but I love it - when this Metronomy song came on, and I remembered how much I loved it. I'm also gifting to you a little gem from my friend Samuel, which is absolutely beautiful, not that I'm biased at all or anything, but it's just my kind of folky-indie-acoustic stuff. One man and a guitar. Swoon.

  8. Okay so you have the best music? Yeah, I think so :) And photos? Well, to put it short, they're the bomb. I honestly will sit all morning with a crossword puzzle and a snuggie and listen to this mess of acousticness. Anyway, don't stop! I need more :)

    Everyone else - thank-you!

@itsmyponcho - hi i think I love you. This is of course not influenced by the bottle of wine I've consumed this evening [three bottles/three people = hello confessions]. I must buy a snuggie.
