Not Grizzly, Just Bare



Hello. CONFESSION: I am a little drunk. Drunk off my new favourite cocktail [my own creation, gin and elderflower and lemongrass. As my flatmate said: I am such a DICK. But I love gin so much]. And in this state of mine, I have of course become generous, doesn't that happen to all of you? My tips increase exponentially when I'm drinking. Poor bank account.

I have again been neglecting you, but with just cause really. I'm back in Edinburgh, back revising for me resit [yes, I failed an exam, it sucks. Sucks so hard.] and still, even though I'm meant to be revising, I find myself in a whirlwind of activity. Not real activity. More cupcake-baking, regency-romance-novel-reading activity. Ask me about Legionnaire's disease - no idea. Ask me about cupcake flavours/how people acted during the war against Napoleon and I am ON IT. It's sad really. I vow, from now on, to focus more and save my reading for my fabulous Turkey trip. And to stop drinking with friends. Except for tonight. And my The Beach/Thai takeaway night. What? It's thematically appropriate.

    ThirtySeven - My love for gin is like an old friendship. Sometimes it makes me a little maudlin, sometimes I wake up cursing it, but I always go back. Sometimes I cheat on it with JD.

    Lana - I've had to swear off drinking until my exam is over - I get nothing done! Blogging is my sole procrastination now.

    SJD - God I LOVE Childish Gambino. His lyrics make me grin at passing stranges. He's perfect running music, although I have a tendency to mouth the lyrics along to it, which isn't brilliant when you're in a public place.
