Eagle Vs Shark soundtrack

"That was some pretty good sex last night, huh?"

I watched Eagle Vs. Shark for the first time the other week, and although I'm not too sure if it's completely my kind of humour [awkwardness makes me feel SO AWKWARD] the soundtrack is undoubtedly ace. It's all [mostly, I think] Kiwi bands, all quite indie, and all amazing.

"I almost came as a shark actually, but then I realised an eagle's slightly better."

  1. Hah, it was so weird but we loved :) We were practising our accents for a week.

  2. Cool to see you listening to some great New Zealand music (and I love the film, but get what you mean about the awkwardness. Check out some other stuff by Taika Waititi- his films are lovely.)

If you like this stuff, other NZ music you might like is: Conan Mockasin; Lawrence Arabia; Brunettes; Princess Chelsea; solo stuff from Phoenix foundation members- Samuel Flynn-Scott and Luke Buda in particular. Also take some time to watch Phoenix Foundation videos- generally excellent too.

    Nice blog.

  3. Haha, Eagle vs. Shark may be the most awkward movie of all time, but it is a good watch all the same. I love the matching moles.

Sound track is so good! I love that New Zealand music is filtering its way around the world, too good to miss out on.

  4. Blogs have such influence...perhaps you might try posting something that would encourage others..
